to answer your question, dragon ball started on TV as a cartoon from japan, and no it's not like naruto that you can only watch online. There are DVD's and re-runs. Hell, you can watch naruto on TV and probably DVD too, and there are probably I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥ tons of manga on this stuff too.

Goku Gets force Kicked at 0:30 You see this related to cabal NOW! Oh and Goku keeps using Bloody Spirit/Mortal Bane(Kaioken) in the fight. Then cooler keeps fading and dashing in combo and uses Shadow shield to negate Gokus attacks, and at one point hes even AoD(when goku flies into him) And Goku uses aura to beat up on cooler :) see not off topic!

dbz died when the creator stopped writing the series after the end of the kid buu saga, he thought he could make plenty of money off just the previous series and movies, but he didnt make as much as he expected thats why they tried makin gt which failed completely (ss4 badass though) and now there doing that dbzkai crap. or at least this is what i heard, i wish it were still around, would give me something to watch while all these naruto fillers are ass raping my life..

I personally like DBZ up to the Frieza saga it became so stale, the fighting was thrown out the window (except for the Goku vs Cell fight..now that was epic) watching Goku and the Z fighters run threw all the bad guys like hot cakes was getting annoying (Krillen died the most ) ;( . They should have stuck to just making movies for the sagas after the Frieza one tbh.

Wouldnt mind another DBZ series but only if its made by the creator (akira toriyama) otherwise it will just be like every other series (pokemon, yugioh, naruto, bleach, etc), good at first then just stretched out to make money with a weak story.

One of the very few anime's that I still watch and enjoy every new episode (minus fillers ofcourse) is One Piece. Really its just evolved from a simple story to one where you care about each character. They set the top guy in the series then killed him off in the first few episodes lol. Anyways, yep hope if they do make a new series it wont be mindless bs of just fighting and overpowered characters.

Nicely said, DBZ is one of those animes that set the ground work for most animes in today's market that is "supernatural' sore to say fighting (most of them) Like i always say when something is getting alot of money the quality goes up and the quintet goes down this concept happens alot in animes. Mostly newer ones are like that, the old ones seem to keep the story going and know how to end it on a strong note. Not to say that all new animes are bad it's just that when its copying something like DBZ you can't sit there and say "boy that was kool i never seen that before, but i do think DBZ did that first but forget that"

I just finish watching Fighting Spirit aka Hajime no Ippo a boxing anime that was every good, and i yet to see a anime like that one. I prefer to watch animes that i never heard about or are considered "overrated" because most of time I get lured into a trap.
Typical animes i don't like are ones that don't make sense, over the top situation that doesn't seem to end, characters that show no emotion or too much emotion, those are a few put-off to me.

I do like alot of new animes such as Death Note, Baccano, Basilisk and Darker to Black. (if you have a anime or animes that you think i should check out please recommend some)
