which one of those best for 170 fb that has 1k att 200cdi 58 cr 45 amp. and i can do perfect 1 hit retarget tho

It's debatable between 2nd and 3rd hit retarget. I go with 3rd.
3rd hit rockstar uses that to solo pluma end of discussion

its subjective to situation. if you need more AOE hits, the 2nd and 3rd hits give more AOE than the first so use 3 hits for larger mobs. also I'm pretty sure when I did dmg calc's before, 3 hits were better for higher defense mobs but on lower defense mobs 2 hits is better. I cant remember exactly how much of a diff it was or if its changed over time.

2nd hit retarget is for a low defense mob.. usually the first hit of BM2 hits 800 points lower but its very fast.. you just have to use 2nd hit retarget on Bosses that dont have regen
the reason why Toma and Rockstar do 3rd hit retarget is because of the high damage it produces. When soloing a boss such as pluma (High defense + High Regen) you need a high constant damage.. thats why 3rd hit retarget works perfectly, the more damage you inflict the less Pluma regens.

that's pluma hard boss..i think he means other dungeons etc./.
calculate urself. bm2 then 1st hit retarget in 90 sec and count how many hit u can do, then 90 sec for 2nd and 3rd too. then u know the damage you deal in 1st , 2nd and 3rd hit. then calculate dps.
