Sharing the results of a (waist of alz) test i did.

Don't troll the helm I used it was a test.

I bought a ST Helm of Outty with 2 empty slots.
I cdi'ed the first slot on purpose.
Randomed the 2nd and did not get rate.
I extended and used a cdi scroll with only 1 fcm.
That gave me a 10% rate of success for the 3rd slot and obviously failed.
Randomed the 2nd slot again and did not get rate.
Rinse
Repeat
Rinse
Repeat
After 17 randoms of the same 2nd slot I got rate.

Wondering why It was a waist of alz? I failed cdi in the 3rd. Long story short if you have the extra alz to ext you can get rate on purpose then pray for the 70% success 3rd slot of cdi.

When doing this with a phys/aqua/tit/stit weap for cost purposes you still end up with a 40cdi weapon if you by chance succeed that 10% success 3rd slot so long as you protect it with a cdi scroll.

To most this is prbly known or blatantly obvious. This post was for the ones that havnt thought of it yet.

i have been through this .. but the problem is that i succeed with 10% success rate from 2nd time haha

should had fingure that since this 1st update came -.- and trust me i try you might think 10 % or w/e is kinda low to get ? LOl
lets me know when you try on a higher lvl gear

i ofc i had try this long time ago with bluetin and tit lvl
after 5-6 trys of break the2nd slot out cuz of 3rd slot is junk,
that 10 % is success :D

This game is such that when it finds out what you're tryna do, it would either make u succeed the 10% 3rd slot and get stuck with a crappy 2nd random slot OR make u fail a 70% 3rd slot and lose a 2nd slot rate. Go figure.

shud've upgraded to +11+ so u have more chance of success on 3rd slot :3
