fearlezz, add Cabal.exe and Gameguard to you antivirus exceptions list, this should stop the false positive your antivirus is reporting from happening.

fearlezz ignore Loit he is the forum challenged. (to put it nicely)

try running as administrator, right click the cabal icon on your desktop, you can set it to run as admin, one time or you can perm set it by going from the context menu that expands on right click and looking under properties, then to the compatibility tab and tick the box to run as admin. try that and see if it helps

ok but when you right click the icon to launch your cabal client , do you see in the options list to "run as administrator"?

You dont need that for 2000/XP

Seems like he has something on his comp that doesnt like cabal.

-.- drop the AV and get AVG. cause the launcher is a snake application it cause a virus detection warning in most virus protection software.
