Anyone else getting hack???? 4 on my guild and counting.

I got hack and some of my guildies aswell....I heard there were other people getting hack but I dont know most....If you got hack during this week name it. This is the same story as last time some nub char is in BI selling all hacked stuf for dirt cheap!! What is going on GMs!!!!!!

I mean I dont want to be mean but one time...ok we pass it.....but this is teh second time someone broke your security!!!!

gms are probably either too stubborn to admit it or lack the knowledge to do anything.

The closest we got is "an increase in compromised accounts lately", I would expect them to come clean if the db was leaked/breached in anyway, the integrity of the server in public opinion is irrelevant if the security was breached, and it just makes things worse when all is said and done in hindsight.

Lots of people been getting hacked lately. Several people I know too.

One of my friends logged into ch 12, and immediately I was suspicious because he never plays in ch 12; viewed equip and he was naked. contacted him and he was able to get online to boot the hacker before they could trade/mail anything. :x

Only boots/gloves/brac's were off cathy :) and they had a I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥I love you >.<♥ty 6 rate/rate in slot craft gs off ah... hopefully est can fix it soon though :( atleast people are getting their gear back which is good to see :).. but yeah i was lucky people told me and the fact that i was actually awake lol.

uhm i still say its better than letting them hackers gain profit o.o n eventrually if u have a ss of ur cb gears im sure GMs can retrieve it like the way it was, cause they can check ip address logins......etc

I would have to agree with what snowx said about the server itself being hacked. It's more likely that someone or several persons have gained access to it, which would allow them free reign of the entire game's accounts reguardless of pass's and such.


No official word on if the server/database was breached, but from the looks of the random people getting stripped; I would say either someone is accessing the database or there is some kind of other exploit that is allowing the stripping of gear.

I don't think its "mass hacking" but if this continues consistently you'll have a hard-pressed time convincing everyone its isolated incidents. One interesting thing is a few of the people who got "stripped/hacked" didn't even have anything worth taking...lol.
