This one I tried to get a shot of him doing his thing. He'd shoot the one right in front of him, and everything in the area would get knocked down or killed.
These bots, or whatever they are don't pick up anything... they just kill. Normally I don't mind as I get free loot, however when you're trying to do a quest and the thing you just targeted dies out of nowhere, it becomes a problem. Same is happening in both pictures.
