What would you do if EU merged with us?

if im not wrong, the time for eu's contractual renewal is next year. depending on when cabal 2 comes out, i would not be surprised if they just decide to clump up all the cabal 1s into one server....

i wouldn't be too surprised... on eu forums, there's already threads asking for server merger due to player inactivity. i think if we were told that we'd merge with global back during ogplanet days, we would have laughed ourselves silly.

Those asking for merge are the 4 ex-gameforge servers: italian, franch, spanish and german servers.

To make it short there were kinda 5 EU servers. The main EU one, hosted by game-masters.com, and the 4 language servers hosted by gameforge.
Somehow GF sold us to GM, but our popolation is really really low (1vs1 t5 wars... or even 1vs0) so we're asking for a merge with them or between us (we don't even have transfer).

Although from what I see EU main server lost most of its population aswell, therefore a merging with NA (or some other versions) wouldn't be that strange in the distant future. A global merge will finally bring back 100vs100 NW.

More players = More competition which is exactly what this shet is lacking atm

There is a higher chance of Mercury and Venus merging before an NA/EU merge would happen lol

If they did merge they'd have to make more servers since EU already has 3 servers with 24 channels on each @_@

I don't think it matters. They didnt get fixed in the last maintenance, hard telling when they're getting fixed even. Wts Blink? Saints going to be fun tonight i believe. I liked LS better without warp. Hah

Cabal EU out populates us; unlike EST's way of dealing with users they did a much better job. The one GM that out does everyone is GM Viral, the guy is like a one man army. They are doing quite well, and they launched Cabal about a year earlier than NA. Cabal NA was handled in a terrible manner, such that even after merging with Cabal Global, EU still > NA population. Cabal Sea [from what I understand] is even bigger. Then there is KR which is the largest one of them, and from what I heard it out does Cabal 2. Then there those smaller EU servers (which is different from the cabalonline EU), and Brasil (?)

So the game will live another 10 years even with a ton of merger.

The sad thing is , if they fixed their issues such as lag, hacking, good GM response, advertisements this game would be something else today. what it comes down to is poor programming practices for software development by not testing enough, and bad service for support.

CABAL 2 > HAHAHAHAHA. OKAY. Not going to even bother downloading it. Either they make new contents in Cabal 1 or it's good bye for me, it's the same idiots giving third class service with a bunch of buggy / poor written code with insufficient testing.

cabal sea should definitely be a outlier that should never merge with anything official :)

don't forget how jacked up the economy would get. It'd take 2 months to even start to smooth out. The only forms of merges would be as what'-his-ma-face said, the EU off-branches into EU, and NA's Venus+Mercury merge. If any happened at all.

@ all the people that said they'd quit if Merc+ Venus merged, I ask why? Don't you want more competition? Larger wars? and the chance for everyone to meet everyone? An additional problem I could see is that some guilds would want to be larger than just 150, which this game does not currently allow/ support.
