War event every weekend start date

So I read the event posted here http://cabal.com/Notice/Detail?boardIdx=2687 and if u look at the start date, it says JULY 29th. They let us know the event started 1 month in advance or is it an error? Surely I'm not the only one who saw this
It must be an error cause July 29th is a Sunday >_>
