You really think people haven't broken a ton of amp slot items yet without getting a single scroll? It has rates of probably about the same if not lower than getting rate scroll, except you can attempt to get it out of way fewer items.

According to patch notes they do. I won't believe it till someone actually finds one from an amp slot item though.

The patch notes stated that in order to get a chance of an amp scroll you need to break an item that already has amp in the slot.

By all means, buy all the amp gear and extract it to get amp scrolls

No it doesn't. What is in slot doesn't affect what kind of scrolls it gives...

i think it does. ive broken sloted with magic amp +7 and above and have gotten amp scrolls twice. (of course me and my noobie self only can affort to break st amp) Still ive gotten em.

I can confirm this, you just have to be lucky, slot enchant and craft does not affect the outcome in any way. Ah the item must be +7 or ABOVE to have a chance to get amp scroll, not below as stated in the patch notes, that was a typo.

Yeah, and I've gotten 10 max crit rate scrolls recently from breaking suits (that I +7ed) which dropped from Derk back then...

Yeah, I believe the BELOW +7 is a typo. Aside from that, I haven't seen anything on patch notes where it specifically says you need amp in a slot to get amp scrolls.
