So, just out of curiosity I'm wondering how much has the game changed in the past 5-6 years since I last played?

If you got a big wallet then you can get "good" almost instantly

Really? I could've sworn that it was feb of '08 that it was officially launched as cabal na, as that's when I came and it was the very end of beta

Well if they are the same KoS guild I know they used to play Cabal EU before NA players got IP-blocked.

Before, we can skill grind our way to transcender no matter what lvl we are, you afk dummy and ure good to cap ur skill level. You cant do that anymore. Maps and the mob damage were nerfed so lakeside, mf and pf which used to be our main grinding spots are now very manageable. There is a new map, its quite challenging for the squishy class to solo but its now the new exp grind map for end levels. The upgrade system has been changed. Used to be 1 core per upgrade and now it goes up to 5 cores per attempt. new dungeons/dx (solo) dungeons. New skills. New level cap. New Battle Mode. New interface. New options. These are just few of the many changes that I can share to you about the gameplay but yeah theres quite alot of changes here but overall they tried to make controls more user friendly and convenient.

As for the population. You might find friends from before, theyre probably established players now, but the amount of players have dramatically decreased after 2 years since OB. We have merged with cabal global so you'll see hispanic people around. Servers can be dull at times but as long as you have buddies to play with, I think you'll have fun. But dont expect it to have people to talk to or watch and duel with everywhere 24/7. Its not like that anymore, not here in NA.

Auction house was introduced at December 15, 2008 through OGPlanet along with the new automated combo system. The Force Blader BM2 was revamped when the dungeon Lost island came about.
