tryed to figure this out but couldnt find any info anywhere, does resist critical rate increase the max critical rate or not.
i got 59/59 rate and if i use lv20 hard luck that puts -10% crit resist rate on the target, will my rate be 69% or stay at 59%?

If you got the gears to have 59 rate you should not be asking how Hard Luck works

Also: use common sense

yea real usefull, thnx for the geat info man:D f.ckin retard.
common sense has nothing to do with this.. it says -10% resist critical rate so your rate increases 10% on that target.
still cant know if it affects the max crit rate and increases it.
if the max rate is 59%, then its 59% rate + -10%=69% or 55% + -10%=59%.
and thats what i need to know

yea real usefull, thnx for the geat info man:D f.ckin retard.
common sense has nothing to do with this.. it says -10% resist critical rate, means you got 10% more chance to crit.
still cant know if it effects the max crit rate and increases it to get that 10% extra rate.

You're only proving that you don't have any common sense. You're either under age 10 or you're just not-smart.

Not quite sure how somebody like that ends up with 59/59 rate :)

ye wrote that wrong, but already changed it.
im almost sure im right, and even if im wrong you could correct me and gif me the right answer insteed of replying and talkin s.hit .
you got nothing better to do then go on the forum all day and post some useless stuff?
cant even understand the question which was about the max and resist rates of crit and not about how hard luck works
so if you aint got a answer dont waste my time:D

You're doing it wrong.

Hard luck decreases opponent's crit rate resist, which indirectly increases your chances of critting but it works opponent-side, so it doesn't directly affect your critical rate thus max crit rate has nothing to do with it.

Let's take it to a boxing point of view. If you drug your opponent would that mean you got stronger? Nope.
Hard luck works the same way, is not you getting stronger but opponent getting weaker.

This thread is quite funny, seems like Haze lacks common sense...... Nozomi put it in a good perspective though +1 for that!

Actually Haze i understand what u mean, if im understanding u correctly its more of a question of probability...(if Cathy took school seriously)
There are independent events (like coin flipping) and dependent
So ur asking if ur debuff causes an independent change in ur crit chance (aka crit HIT) or the crit chance is dependent on the debuff on target (aka crit RATE)
Well 1st lets establish that probability in cabal is...for the lack of milder words...sh1t
U said that ur cr is 59% with the debuff -10% making it 69% a chance of crit hit?...which in real work will be significant
Therefore ur cr doesn't become 69% that is due to the cr cap uk aop+6 and such...
So thus we have a classical case of independent probability ur debuff is independent of ur rate
Think of probability math...uk one u multiply the other add...common sense from there on
