Game is broke...I failed upgrading with ech and sgh ,my item still went down -2 and I still have the sgh

using all ech prevents failing down -2 (you'll only fail -1)
using less than all ech only increases the % success rate, but does not prevent dropping down 2 grades.

Then it's not broke :) you must use all ech to prevent it from deleveling :(

I could be wrong but I believe you have to use more then one to put it in effect I'm not sure I've always used all ech
Also make sure you didn't buy a med one by mistake lol

If an item fails and degrades by -2, 1 sgh won't do anything; 1 sgh won't even be used.
Having 2 sgh is mandatory.
1 SGH will only be used up if you failed using all ech.

I've failed using mixed cores and sgh before,It's gone down -1 on a -2 fail and one of my sgh's disappears
you guys are talking like regular uch's no longer apply to sgh....

Yes the GMs are aware it does not say what to use
They said they are turning it over to the devs to get it changed
Atleast that is what they said when they first came out

you could always just say screw SGH and hope for luck like my katana did (+7>+15 normal uch no sgh) but unlike my crystal +11>+11(13 times) after 5b of uchh/echh
