They gave us an alternative to be able to participate in the event. Why are people crying that we never have any events then when it comes they say that it's complete trash and not worth participating in? If you don't want to participate in the event then kudos to you; you may take your leave.

I'm not complaining, just making a suggestions. In the last event we had that could've been won by wexp or ecoins we also had a T-point option. I feel that having a DP alternate requirement would've been better than T-points since you actually have to run dungeons for that one rather than spinning and winning.
