Cabal Crashing PC Windows 8

Hello Cabal,

Today, after finishing my Episode 9 update, I tried to start up the game and it gave me the crash code "Critical_Process_Died".

The game was working well when I last used it, and I haven't ran into any issues up until today. I'm unsure of what to do at this point, as every time I open Cabal (after pressing play) my computer crashes. Anything I can do to solve this?

Downgrade back to windows 7 until windows 8 has all its bugs fixed

if you have an anti-virus, try uninstalling it. I had the same problem, turned out it was because my anti-virus and cabal were clashing on windows 8

If what Hash said doesn't work, then try running it through the start menu(or bar, or whatever it's called). Suprisingly, that seemed to stop my computer from crashing. Also, since W8 is completely new it wouldn't hurt to send an error report, they might actually read it since the OS is new.
