New player here, just wondering if it's worth getting into this game.

I played a few years back when it was with ogp, but due to real life problems I never got to get very far.

I'm wondering if this is a game worth getting into, seeing as the 2nd game is coming out (No clue why anyone would want to play it though due to those horribly sexist gender locks).

I don't care if I have to spend a bit of money later, as long as it's not more than some games out there, and is it rampant with botters and spammers?

Cabal is still a great game to play and enjoy. Though it has evolved from what you may remember it still has its challenges. As for botters and spammers well the server still has a few botters but the spammers have become a little more bother sum for example: they now also whisper message you as well as in game mail you. The quick solution has been and always will be to block them.

I don't play Gender locked games like Cabal 2, especially when I can't make a male mage, or a female force blader.

That and Aions bard class isn't coming out for 2 more months, I have no desire to make another character on it until then.

If you're going to wait for a game, don't make it Cabal 2. Wait until ESO is released, nothing locked about that game.
