This will probably never be implemented, but I would love to be able to bind the same key to two different actions. (Activate both skill slot 1 and 2, for instance.)

This would really help with setting up a wizard BM2 bar, make a skill also activate HP pots, or toggle auto attack while activating BM2.

Of course, there could be issues with it. For instance, what happens if an attack and retarget are assigned to the same key? Will you attack your current target, then retarget, or vice versa? It's a race condition, which is generally bad in that it creates unpredictable results.

I think that having some kind of notice up on the keybindings page would be sufficient for these cases. And if someone really gets themselves in a bind (no pun intended), the Set Defaults button is right there. And there is also a way to clear a keybinding if it was made on accident.

I don't know how many people change keybindings; but for myself, this would make things much more flexible and allow better tuning of my game experience.

Might as well use macros, which are bannable

Not really. Macros record a sequence of key strokes, which has an order, and a timing. Mapping a single key to two actions has no order, and no timing.

Might as well use macros, which are bannable Using a macro key only is illegal if you use it to automate stuff basically. But GL using any bcs Gameguard blocks almost everything.
