not every week now, mostly its every 2 weeks
but sometimes they do a MA to do a update or event
in this case it was the every 2 weeks cuz last week there was no MA lol
i can say 99% sure next week there will be another MA cuz thats when Steam benefits end (oct 10 - nov 6)
(altho they can get rid of certain events on the fly w/o doing a MA)

I'd link the post that they altered their MA scheduling, but it's been archived apparently. In any case, as beast says, they started to do them every other week about a year or so ago, with exceptions for events. Updates might have, but usually fell in stride with the normal pattern. Hopefully we'll get Part 3 soon...been waiting on that a while.
