Did you follow the instructions? Did you run as administrator? Did you try redownloading?
Edit: by "redlownload" I mean the launcher, not the update.

That's probably cause of your slow internet speed I get it everytime I try to update the game...also they should already make a manual patch because of ppl having problems like this

And last update took me 2 weeks to download.
So my question...why are the servers so slow. My client says downloading at like 16-64Kb/s, where Steam will download up to 200Kb/s (more on lucky days).
What's worse is their website doesn't even work! So you can't even get on to submit a HD ticket (I have the update review errors ticket to submit)!

Update cabal using Hotspot Shield Elite.
Im not sure if this is legal but it works for me.
After update you can close the HSS and enjoy playing.
