well i doubt its the new update since eu hasnt gotten it yet and they seem to get them before we do. Also one of the gms on eu posted it will most likely hit beginning of july on their servers

Doubt they can easily fix that, compared to other dungeons it seems much larger and more detailed which = laggier.

I don't know for sure but I think the servers have to be shut down and re-started to down load all the weeks data to a separate hard drive and create a back up (ghost image) incase they crash. This takes time; massive data transfer.
