The Upgrade point system is a scam. Its used to make you think if you get a lot of it then you have a higher chance to successfully upgrade a gear. Well sorry to burst your bubble but all it is, is some numbers that does not do anything.

So if i get what your saying, it practically means that GM want us to fail on purpose. By doing so we would have to resort to buying cores from item shop or buying vouchers to get alz to get more cores. Sounds logical enough, but still upgrade points are still just a number that does not do anything to help the player.

The event is lowering the number of cores, but I don't see how it is eliminating alz. You buy cores, someone else is getting that money, thus no loss of alz. Now ack in the day, they would have NPC's sell cores for a set price. Now that is when you could say alz was leaving the game. This event is actually causing inflation rather than preventing it.

I dont know how much alz tax collected by AH per day but the #1 Guild cant get anymore than 500m/day.

The maximum amount of Alz per day reward is 500 million Alz.

Edit: Also, if I knew I was going to sell a lot of items I would get the VIP card anyways since it's only 499 ecoins, which is ~65m assuming vouchers are 130m. You could even say up to 75m if you're looking at the ridiculous voucher prices atm of 150m tops. Nevertheless, the VIP card is worth it seeing how you have 30 days to get that 65~75m back; which in most cases, you'll earn x-fold that amount.
