Less people spend $$$ to buy voucher so the supply is running out.

Everyone doesn't stop buying voucher at the same time. If you are from titan, voucher has never been this high even when they sell stupid stuffs in the cash shop.
This almost happened overnight, after event voucher for some reason going up a lot more. When thing happen this fast it means someone is messing up the price but I don't know why he would do that.
Another thought is that people ran out of USD for the event so no one is buying voucher (this is more reasonable explanation).

If the demand for vouchers is HIGH then supply will decrease as long as people buy at whatever price and that means prices will INCREASE. If people are willing to buy at 175m, then the price will stay at 175m. However if people aren't willing to pay 175m for a voucher anymore then the price will go DOWN, getting closer to equilibrium.
Of course as price goes up the amount of people willing to pay that price will go down.

If less people buy VOUCHERS there will be less of a supply therefore increasing prices.

Let's be honest though it is easier to earn 10 usd than to farm 150m.

And remember no one is forcing you to buy a voucher, you can spend 10 USD if you prefer.

Well school started and instead of buying vouchers, they need to pay for books and save that lunch money. Also, during the 1st day, to pick up their Agendas and class schedule, they made 3 to 4 friends along the way. They are probably instant messaging with an insane amount of emojis, on how some of the girls are looking hot this year.

On the other side, tons of young lads regret not making any GF during summer. So all that voucher money will go toward alcohol, lottery tickets and tobacco products.

Then comes halloween, and people get their credit card ready.
