HEEEELP! Log in error message

I am receiving an error message upon log in. "you have been disconnected from the server. please re log in after clicking ok". This is a new error. I have placed cabal as an exception in my firewall/anti virus and i also tried rebooting my router. Anyone else have this problem and has anyone resolved is successfully?? ty ty
