hey can some one help me with my ipod touch problem? Itunes want detect it and it want show up on the computer. It cant be the usb cord cause when i stick it in the computer the ipod lights up but it want charge it.

Reinstall iTunes.
Make sure you have iTunes helper running.
Contact Apple not a gaming forum.
Get a new iPod.

i may think its the cable and the forum give good help and i just reinstalled it ...........were do you get the aple updater from i think thats it ....i had it last time when i pluged in my ipod but now i dont ...............it would be cool if some one would post the link

How to fix:
Turn off computer.
Plug ipod into usb.
Then you must reset your ipod... don't worry it won't wipe anything out.
To reset hold the two buttons on your itouch until it resets.
Start computer and it should install the usb driver for the ipod automatically.
Your ipod will say do not unplug so don't. then open itunes and it will be there.
Just remember to not only eject ipod from itunes but stop usb.
Go to the program icons near the clock and right click the usb icon and "safely remove hardware" will appear and click it.
Stop it and select "apple ipod".

Or you might just need a new cord.

Protip: Buy cords in bulk, I lose them faster than the flash can run.

I have an iphone that I barley plug into my computer at all, so I'm not sure this will work.

You really should have no need for a computer past the initial sync. You can download music, podcasts, apps, videos, ebooks, everything via wifi. Wall chargers are $30.

hey lethal i went to add hardware and it said apple mobile divie usb and it had a cation sign on it and when i tryed to add it it said it was corrupted(code 53) how to fix that
