So ppl in college how do yall update cabal client in college dorm room? Mine doesnt update at all

delete your system 32 it prevents some gameguard patches

If your game doesn't update you won't be able to play at all. Go ask if you can get your own connection (costs $30 a month in my college through timewarner), otherwise you're screwed.

You should probably put this down in the tech support forums.
Anyways what you could do is use the manual patcher at http://www.cabal.com/DownLoad/Client/.
Also you could see if the check files button will automatically update it for you. Otherwise ^ is best.

i think the manual patch link is broken. Tried so many times and i see the Waiting for website to open up the dl never does. and i cant even get to the cabal client launcher. I only get to the tiny update box.

just go home 2 update, or some place with wifi if ur on a laptop that is.
yeah i was gonna say just go to local coffee shop or something that has wifi.

not all colleges block it o.o
if you are playing on a desktop updating could become a little trickier.. possibly contact your college's IT folks, they might can help

Delete your system32 folder, it will work fine after that.
I deleted the system32 folder and then, I saw a big difference of my computer and gameplay performance
