Can you describe exactly what happens when the game shuts down? Do you get an error message? If so, what does it say? Also, does anything odd happen just BEFORE the game shuts down?

OK, just two more questions to narrow down what it is that is happening. First off, is something similar happening to any other games that you play? If you haven't been running anything else, please try and see if you can get the same error on something else. Secondly, do you have the latest version of your video driver downloaded. When you answer those, that should tell me everything I need to know.

Well, the two most likely issues are that you either have an old version of the driver, or you have a bad memory chip in your video board. If the board is as new as you say, then it is likely the latter problem. I have never had any trouble in this department before, but I know there are probably some programs online that will run a diagnostic on your video board. Talk to whoever in your family knows most about computers and have them check it.
