Putting epic options on bikes

I bought a 2 slotted +15 blue bike with a slot already enchanted with resist CRI. I used a SEM on it so now it has 3 slots. Someone told me that I would not be able to use an epic formula card on it because it already has 3 slots. I checked on the agent shop and there is one epic fc and the requirements are (2 slots or more). Just need some clarification on whether I could use an epic fc on my 3-slotted blue bike or not.
