Character Reset to level one!?

EDIT: Oh wow. Excuse my dumbness. All this time I thought I was a Venus player. When in fact I was a Mercury player.

I just had an old account on Venus that was level one with the same name. A couple of minutes ago my in real life friend was talking to another one of my friends "Hey, your new account is on Mercury with me right?" And then it hit me haha.
