Need techie help

so, i have these 2 desktops (both duo cores cpu, still):

1. amd, lotsa free hd space, 2gb ram, 1gb video card
2. pentium, about 80%+ hd space used, 1gb ram, 512mb video card

from same net connections.

1 is fine for gaming here. 2 is however slow in loading and in-game, it 'skips' quite often.

Which among the differences between the two specs --- hd space, ram, or video card --- should I change to make no. 2 computer as smooth as no. 1? I can't buy all 3 items sadly, I can afford to change only one, so which will the best then?

More RAM for one, as for your processor, going to need more info then it just being a Pentium. You can get more info of your PC by going to:
(Win2k/XP): Start -> Run -> Type in: dxdiag
(WinVista/7): Start -> Type in search bar: dxdiag

Your processor info will be listed there.
