At the character select screen, there is no light effect, causing me to be unable to see my character. In the game, I still have no light effects and there are also tiles that are completely black. I would post my dxdiag, but I'm not sure how.

Found my problem. Somehow it had stopped itself from running as admin... It still happens if it's minimized in any manner though...
