I have been hearing alot of things about bracelets.. Is bof+6 better then a bof+3slotted in all catagorys?

Isn't amp better for bosses?

all amp does is takes that % of your base attack and adds it to the skill attack (the attack in the parenthesis next to your base when u hit a skill)

so if you have 1k attack it adds 10 to that. having the 7 extra base attack is already almost to what the 1% would add to your skill attack, but the extra 7 base will also raise what the rest of your amp will give to skill attack therefore making the overall damage higher.

at least this is how i understand it.

no1 will be able to give you actual numbers due to everyones different setups, the damage difference will be different depending on each persons different base/amp setups.

just checked and im about 99% sure this is how it works.

i currently have 1011 attack and 51% amp. i clicked on impact stab and its 35% amp 47 add attack (which is about the same as the skill attack in the paranthesis)

1011 + 86%(my amp + amp on IS) = 1880.46
1880.46 + 47 attack(add attack on IS) = 1927.46
my attack in the parenthesis = 1928
